The CMW 8000 Liquid Moisture Vapor Barrier can be used to treat any unpainted or unsealed bare concrete surface that has moisture problems . It is spray applied (hand pump garden sprayer or low pressure airless sprayer) requires multiple wet on wet coats for proper application. It is easy to apply and most commonly used on floors to reduce moisture problems coming up from underneath the floor. However it can be used on vertical surfaces as long as the multiple wet on wet application process is used as described on the product page. It would be a bit more difficult to spray apply on the ceiling as it is not a coating and does not leave a surface film after application so will tend to have a large amount of overspray.
