The amount of flakes needed for a floor project depends on how dense you want to see them (see below). The more flakes used means less you see the base coating and as you add more flakes you see fewer imperfections in the existing floor surface and it will hide any future stains and scratches that can occur in your clear topcoat. For the best "hide" use a full broadcast to refusal (only see flakes and no basecoat)
Usage Chart
Light Broadcast: 1 lb every 250 sq' For 1500 sq' 6 lbs
Medium Broadcast: 1 lb every 125 sq' For 1500 sq' 12 lbs
Heavy Broadcast: 1 lb eveery 60-85 sq' For 1500 sq' 18 lbs to 25 lbs
Full Broadcast 1 lb every 7 to 9 sq' For 1500 sq' 170 lbs to 215 lbs
