Yes, the Clear Cool Coat Thermal Barrier Coating will reduce the heat of any painted surface applied to including a black colored exterior wall. As the Clear Coat has a bit of gloss you may want to try a gallon out on a small area. Each gallon covers 10'x10' with 2 coats (200 sq'/gallon per coat x 2 coats).
